All
three of our Pets of the Week were originally at the KCK
Animal Control shelter before we transferred them to our shelter
as part of our Ray of
Hope program.
Gus is a cute and friendly little red Dachshund.
He's 5 years old and he weighs 18 lbs. He loves people and loves attention.
He is housetrained.
Gus needs a home without other dogs or
cats. He's great with people but he has some issues with the 4-legged creatures!
Because Dachshunds have delicate backs we also do not want to place him
in a home with small children who might accidently hurt him by picking
him up incorrectly.
Gus has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
and tested for heartworms.
Roosevelt is a handsome orange and white tabby. He is a friendly guy who gets
along with other cats and he likes to play with toys.
Roosevelt is
a year old and he has been declawed on his front paws. When he first
arrived he was very underweight and his pads were all torn
up. He's healthy and looking great now.
Roosevelt has been
neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.
Sadie is a
2 year old Hound/Shepherd mix. She's got a beautiful brindle
coat and a very sweet and silly personality. She gets along well
with other dogs and she likes to play.
Sadie was very skinny when we first met
her. She's gaining weight and she should weigh about 45-50 lbs when she
fills out.
Sadie
has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms.
