A few times each month we pick out several
of our shelter pets, give them a good scrubbing in the tub or extra
brushing, and go out on the town to look for good homes.
Anyone wanting to adopt a pet from one of our satellite
adoptions is asked to fill out an application. Pets are not allowed
to be taken home that same day. Instead, we'll ask you to give us
a call on the following business day. We do this so that you have
some time to think about it without having to hurry and make a decision
that day, and to allow us time to review applications for approval.
If we both agree that this is the pet for you, then we'll set up
a convenient time for you to pick up your new furry friend from our
shelter.

do require a fenced yard for most of our dogs, though there
may some who are appropriate for apartment living or circumstances
where a fence may not be required.

It's a pool party for dogs! The fee is $5 per dog.
Dogs must be current on vaccines. Go to the TRAC
web site to fill out
the required form. We'll bring some of
our shelter dogs and hopefully find them new homes while they're
enjoying their afternoon of fun.

We'll have volunteers there washing dogs for $10 and trimming nails
for $5. Free Nature's Variety doggie ice cream from 4 - 7 p.m. We'll
also bring adoptable dogs to this event.
Plaza Art Fair
Friday thru Sunday, September 24-26
Country Club Plaza
Our booth will be located at Central St. & Ward Parkway (just
north of Brush Creek)
Hours we'll be there with our dogs:
Friday: 6 to 9pm
Saturday: 10am to 7pm
Sunday: Noon to 4pm
Come visit our adoptable dogs while you're at the Plaza Art Fair!
We'll be there throughout the weekend with our dogs at the hours
noted above.
